Hello Chicago Central APA players!

 

I hope all of you are well and staying safe...

 

As things get closer to a state of normalcy - now's the time to see which teams are ready to get back to the pool table. We will be picking up where we left off - completing the Spring 2020 session. 

 

Captains, please reach out to your teams and find out who's ready to play! I need to understand which teams are ready to get going to I can adjust the divisions and schedules...

 

 I'm hoping that if cases continue to drop in Cook county, we can safely resume league play soon. Dates to resume are tentatively set for the last week in February (2/22) but may be adjusted to sooner or later based on the safety of all, and restrictions that are presented. 

 

As you know, this pandemic is unpredictable so we must be flexible. Mask wearing will be required and we must social distance the best we can. Safety guidelines and recommendations for league players will be in accordance to the local mandates at the time of play. Rules and restrictions are changing weekly, and sometimes daily, so I will keep you posted on dates as things progress.

 

 After we complete the Spring Session and league year for 2019-2020 (and we have an understanding of when places can open to full capacity) we can set the dates for last year's Citywide Tournament which will be held sometime in the late spring or early summer of this year. The National Team Event for 2021 is going to be held in late October.

Once the Spring 2020 session is completed (we have about 6-7 weeks left plus two playoff weeks) we will begin the 2021-2022 league year and start with the summer session.

The entire league year of 2020-2021 is cancelled. This gives us times to finish the Spring session and slowly build up the teams again to get rolling on a brand new year and a fresh start.

*For teams playing out of host locations that are currently closed - Surge in Logan Square is an alternative location until your home bars open - tourney's on Sundays.
